Security & Operations Coordinator
Historic Richmond Town is a beautiful 100 acre park-like living history village and historical museum. We need a new team member to help us keep the property safe and clean for our community and team. We are seeking someone to join the Facilities Crew as the Security & Operations Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for cleaning and tidying public and administrative spaces and providing security and customer service functions. They conduct routine patrols of the site, either on foot or in a patrol vehicle. The Coordinator performs access control functions to the facility and buildings across the 35-acre developed campus. They also protect the organization’s property and personnel as per the site standard operating procedures. This position reports to the Facilities Officer.

Responsibilities:
Operations is 65% of the job responsibilities.
Cleaning of administrative and public spaces, which includes;
vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring,
cleaning window interiors,
cleaning and sanitizing office spaces and all public areas,
picking up garbage across campus.
Maintaining janitor closets and equipment in a clean, organized and safe manner.
Restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
Notifying the supervisor when reorder of supplies are needed.
Emptying all trash cans and replacing liners, cleaning receptacles as necessary.
Proper labeling, dilution and use of all cleaning solvents.
Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
Distributing mail/packages to administrative offices.
Conducting other routine operations duties as assigned, such as answering internal emails and completing regular job-related standardized forms.
Security is 35% of the job responsibilities.
Controlling access to the facility ensures only authorized personnel are permitted on site during appropriate times.
Enforcing organization site use rules, such as no metal detecting, drone flying, unleashed dogs, and smoking.
Monitoring camera, fire, and burglar systems and taking appropriate action when systems provide alerts.
Conducting routine patrols of the property, identifying and noting security risks, safety hazards, and operations issues. This includes ensuring the visitors maintain a safe distance from the natural wildlife.
Completing daily online activity reports, incident reports, and other mandated reports per the job assignment and standard operating procedures.
Answering customer inquiries, while in the field.
Responding to team needs for security and operations via request format and radio system.
Coordinators may provide escort details and perimeter fence checks as requested.
Positions details
$16.50 per hour
Part time shift work, on selected days Monday through Sunday, 3pm to 11pm
Must be available to work weekends and evenings. Work required over Labor Day weekend for the annual Richmond County Fair.
