REGISTRATION
Advanced registration is REQUIRED in order to enter the contest.
Registration will close at 12pm on August 29.
Entries must be delivered to Historic Richmond Town’s Visitor Center (items must be walked to the courthouse by entering at the intersection of St. Patrick’s Place and Center Street.) Follow signs to drop-off room.
Dates of drop-off are 8/28-8/29, from 10am-5pm.
CONTEST RULES
Entries must have been grown by the exhibitor. Artificial or synthetic foliage may not be used.
If possible, please include notes for each entry stating variety.
A panel of professional judges will be adjudicating entries. Ribbons will be awarded in each class.
Submissions that fall within naturally existing categories of the below subclasses may be further segmented at the sole discretion of contest judges depending upon entry volume.
Trees, shrubs, and potted plants will not be accepted.
Produce
Produce will be independently adjudicated on the bases of appearance, weight, and size. Produce may be submitted in a plate, box, or container, and will be transferred to a labeled display plate.
